Born in New Caledonia in the Pacific Ocean, I grew up near Brittany (France), lived in Scotland (UK), and am now living in Ithaca, NY (USA) - where my daughter is born.

 

I studied arts, literature and philosophy, before moving to languages and business, tourism and hospitality management, marketing and communication, and eventually ecotourism and conservation.

 

I get passionate about a lot of things, including traveling, food, herbal therapy, photography, to name a few... I am a keen outdoorsy person and a naturalist, and I enjoy hiking, rock and tree climbing. I am also one of the few lucky people in the world to have climbed to and slept in a hammock at the top of a giant sequoia tree, 300 feet from the ground! Traveling to new countries and wild places is definitely one of my top favorite activities...
